- In the Spotlight:Father Max, Uganda
During the month of April, Wells of Life has chosen to highlight the figures in our community that help make a difference and bring joy to sustaining communities. Father Max, a well-loved priest and advocate, joined Nick Jordan and Wells of Life in 2015 in restoring and drilling wells in Southeast Uganda. For several years, Father Max has been a pivotal figure in our journey of providing access to clean water and sanitation in the district of Mityana. His work has positively impacted the lives of so many women, children and families who lack basic necessities such as water. We appreciate his uplifting spirit and bright smile; which is rooted in advocacy and giving to others who are in need. Inspired by his mission, many donors support the education of Ugandan students by contributing to the support and drilling of wells. Safe access to clean water provides educational opportunities for the students in Mityana, Uganda. Learn more about the work Father Max and the rest of our family at Wells of Life does everyday HERE.
- In Celebration of World Water Day!
World Water Day is the annual opportunity to advocate for sustainable management of freshwater services. As you know, the Wells of Life family’s mission is to end the water crisis in the southern district of Mityana, Uganda - one well at a time. For this World Water Day, our wonderful Founder Nick Jordan shares his passion for water and the impact you can have for #WWD in the STU Laguna Newsletter. When you donate your water bill, your donation will be matched by a generous donor for up to $10,000 by Wells of Life. All donations will be matched through Friday, March 26, 2021. Wells of Life was created based on the belief that water is a basic human right and should be available to all people. For more information and to donate, visit our donation page here.
