I write to you as a village leader, but also as a father and a voice for families who wake each day uncertain of where they will find safe water. In our remote village in Uganda, mothers and children walk long distances carrying heavy jerrycans in search of water. After the exhausting journey, the water they find may still be unsafe. Yet when a child is thirsty, what choice does a mother have? It is heartbreaking to watch children spend precious time searching for water when
